Statement

One word to describe Therese is curious. She began her art studies at Cleveland State perusing a nursing degree, but drawing and painting never ceased. Her work is based on autobiographical references and she presents them in a non-sequential relationship so thoughts and ideas are experienced rather then through a narrative framework. She is known for her loosely sketched work with dialogues and imagery that present themselves intuitively. A longtime love for drawing springboards these compositions. She indulges daily in her art, husband and two German Shorthair pointers.

Exhibitions include the Columbus Museum of Art, RB Stevenson

Gallery, Oceanside Museum, Boehm Gallery, William D. Cannon Gallery, Athenaeum Annual Awards Exhibitions, L Street Gallery, Orange Country Center for Contemporary Art, Paisanos International Gallery exhibitions Spain and Mexico.
